Hello! My name is Lexi, and I am a postpartum doula offering support to families in the Mankato area. I am also a photographer that offers birth, newborn and family photography sessions!
I have been working in childcare for over 5 years and have always loved working with the babies as an infant teacher. I had a coworker who talked about being a postpartum doula and I instantly knew that I wanted to become a doula too. I also had a friend who had a baby, and introduced me to the birth world. I was able to attend her birth as her photographer, and it was a breathtaking experience!
I trained to be a postpartum doula through Certified Birth International. It is important to me to support your family in any way that you need after you welcome your baby into the world! As a postpartum doula, I can provide families with information on taking care of their baby, infant soothing, emotional and physical recovery post childbirth, help with looking into different resources available to them, etc
